Amherst Advises on Sale of PC Server and Parts

Amherst Partners, LLC (“Amherst”) is pleased to announce the sale of PC Server and Parts (“PC Server” or “the Company”) to PC Server Acquisition Co., LLC, a private investment group formed to effectuate this transaction. Amherst acted as the exclusive financial advisor to PC Server in connection with the transaction.

About PC Server and Parts

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in New Hudson, Michigan, PC Server is engaged in the purchase and sale of prior-generation enterprise hardware components, including servers, hard drives, storage devices, and network switches, among others.

About The Transaction

PC Server initially engaged Amherst to assist the founder/owner in evaluating alternatives for transferring ownership of the Company, and then to implement the steps necessary to prepare the Company to pursue a sale process. As part of that sale process, Amherst identified numerous potential strategic and financial buyers, and evaluated each of them for the owner’s benefit. Ultimately, based on PC Server’s unique value proposition, and the desire of the prior owner and existing management team to continue in a leadership role, Amherst was able to secure the support of a newly formed investor group capable of providing both the financial backing and on-going strategic input that were the keys to completing this transaction.
